Attendence will be suspended for two days at the Ministry of Water and Irrigation after an employee tested positive for coronavirus, said the spokesperson for the ministry, Omar Salama, on Friday.

The case was found amongst the employees of the Operations and Control Center in Shmeisani and the worker had been covering the night shift.

Employees and clients are not allowed at the ministry on Saturday and Sunday, until the building has been disinfected and PCR tests are conducted for all those who came into contact with the positive case.

All other water departments and companies continue to operate normally across the rest of the Kingdom.

Salama called on the ministy's employees and citizens to abide by the issued instructions and abide by all precautionary measures.
