The Minister of Health, Saad Jaber, directed an official letter to the Private Hospitals Association on Wednesday, in which he called on private hospitals to prepare rooms to receive coronavirus patients.

The government has previously decided to allocate Prince Hamzah Hospital for COVID-19 infections only. In addition, the government has equipped an area in the Dead Sea region to isolate coronavirus patients.

Jordan has recorded 1,776 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, 1,765 of which are local cases.
