A total of 823 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in Jordan on Tuesday, 820 of which are local cases, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 10,049.

Six deaths have been recorded in the Kingdom on Tuesday, bringing the total number of deaths since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 57.

The cases are:

• 476 cases in Amman

• 221 cases in Zarqa

• 46 cases in Balqaa

• 24 in Irbid

• 14 cases in Karak

• One in Maan

• One in Ajloun

• 20 in Mafraq

• 13 in Jerash

• Two in Madaba

• Three people who have travelled from abroad.

A total of 137 recovery cases have been confirmed in Jordan on Tuesday.

A total of 16,851 PCR tests have been conducted, bringing the total number of tests since the beginning coronavirus crisis to 1,204,201.
