Two people died from coronavirus in Jordan on Saturday night, the Head of the National Center for Forensic, Adnan Abbas, told Roya.

The deaths involved a 49-year-old woman who died at Prince Hamza Hospital and a man in his nineties who died in a private hospital.

The total COVID-19 deaths in Jordan now totals 45.

Jordan recorded 850 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, 830 of which are local cases, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 8,061.
