Jordan will no longer use tracking bracelets on people coming from abroad to enforce COVID-19 quarantines, announced the Minister of Health, Saad Jaber, on Saturday.

However, a written undertaking should be written by anyone arriving to the country, which will indicate that the person will adhere to the required period of home-quarantine.

Jordan recorded three deaths and 620 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, 610 of which are local cases, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 7,211.
