Three deaths and 620 new COVID-19 cases in Jordan

Three deaths and 620 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in Jordan on Friday, 610 of which are local cases, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 7,211.

Three new COVID-19 death has been reported in Jordan on Friday, bringing the total number of deaths since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 39.

 

The cases are:

• 306 cases in Amman

• 91 cases in Zarqa

• 146 cases in Balqaa

• Eight cases in Irbid

• 24 cases in Karak

• 16 in Mafraq

• Nine in Ma'an

• Two in Ramtha

• Three in Ajloun

• Two in Madaba

• Two in Tafilah

• One in Jerash

• Ten cases among people who have travelled from abroad, currently staying in hotel quarantine.

A total of 98 recovery cases have been confirmed in Jordan on Friday — 15 have been discharged from Prince Hamzah Hospital, 74 from Dead Sea isolation areas, three from Queen Alia Hospital and six from private hospitals.

A total of 14,064 PCR tests have been conducted, bringing the total number of tests since the beginning coronavirus crisis to 1,142,025.
