Three deaths, 503 new COVID-19 cases in Palestine

Palestine has recorded 503 new COVID-19 cases and three deaths over the past 24 hours, announced the Palestinian Health Minister, Mai al-Kaila, on Wednesday.

The deaths involved two in Ramallah and one in Hebron.  

The recovery rate stands at 73.1%, while the active cases rate is 26.3%, and the death rate is 0.6%.

The new coronavirus cases included: 150 in Hebron, 64 in Nablus, 79 in Bethlehem, 24 in Qalqilya, 18 in Ramallah and Bireh, 14 in Jenin, 10 in Salfit, 11 in Jericho and Aghwar, 50 in Tulkaram, two  in Tubas, 73 in Gaza Strip and eight in the suburbs of Jerusalem.

A total of 819 recovery cases were recorded in Palestine: 123 in Hebron, 86 in Jenin, 22 in Tulkarem, 35 in Qalqilya, 171 in Nablus, 118 in Jericho and al-Asghwar, 20 in Tubas, seven in Salfit, 90 in Gaza Strip and 147 in the suburbs of Jerusalem.

Currently, 44 cases are in the Intensive Care Unit and eight are on ventilators.
