A total of 266 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in Jordan on Monday, 264 of which are local cases, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 5,045.

Two new COVID-19 deaths have been reported in Jordan on Monday, Jaber added.

The cases are:

• 166 cases in Amman

• 10 cases in Zarqa

• 38 cases in Balqaa

• Eight cases in Irbid

• 25 cases in Karak

• Three in Madaba

• Three in Maan

• 10 in Jerash

• Two people who travelled from abroad.

A total of 683 recovery cases have been confirmed in Jordan on Monday.
