A total of 140 people who came into contact with positive cases in Ramtha, have tested negative for coronavirus, announced Ramtha health director, Ikhlas Saad, on Monday.

The COVID-19 investigation teams have completed taking samples from everyone who came into contact with the two infected cases, Saad added.

However, the investigation teams continued to take samples from educational staff, school students, citizens and visitors to hospitals and health centers in all regions in Ramtha

One of the two cases involved a 47-year-old man who came into contact with a positive case at al-Bashir Hospital and the other case involved a woman who works in a bank.
