Palestine has recorded 611 new COVID-19 cases and nine deaths over the past 24 hours, announced the Palestinian Health Minister, Mai al-Kaila, on Monday.
The deaths reported involved two citizens in Hebron, one in Bethlehem and six in Jerusalem.
The recovery rate stands at 70.5%, while the active cases rate is 28.9%, and the death rate is 0.7%.
The new coronavirus cases included: 151 in Hebron, 11 in Nablus, 60 in Bethlehem, 10 in Qalqilya, 105 in Ramallah and al-Bireh, 34 in Jenin, 30 in Jericho and al-Aghwar, 18 in Salfit, one in Tulkarm, 42 in Gaza Strip, three in the suburbs of Jerusalem and 146 in Jerusalem.
A total of 968 recovery cases were recorded in Palestine: 211 in Hebron, 22 in Jenin, 31 in Tulkarm, 37 in Qalqilya, 15 in Salfit, 350 in Jericho and al-Aghwar, 25 in Tubas, 240 in Jerusalem and 37 in Gaza Strip.
Currently, 34 cases are in the Intensive Care Unit and eight are on ventilators.
