A total of six cases are currently in the Intensive Care Unit, four of which are on ventilators, the director of Prince Hamzah Hospital, Majid Nseir, told Roya on Monday.

A total of 160 people infected with coronavirus are receiving treatment inside the hospital and 12 cases are in the intermediate care department, he added.

Regarding home quarantine for children with COVID-19, Nseir said this is an objective decision because children have a low infection rate — with the exception of children who are immunocompromised.
