All recommendations submitted to the government by the committee are based on scientific data aimed to lessen the impact of the coronavirus crisis on the Kingdom.

Jordanians reserve the right to be informed of all decision-making processes related to COVID-19, he added.

The decisions made incorporation with the government remain transparent, as it is essential to raise awareness among citizens to avoid further spreading of the virus and protect citizens.

Although the epidemic seems to be under control, Obaidat stressed that the number of daily cases must be reduced.
