A total of 10 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Jerash, after the daily announcement on Sunday evening.

The cases were found among samples taken by the COVID-19 investigation teams.

The governor of Jerash, Firas Abu Qaoud, said the relevant authorities are currently isolating the homes of the people who tested positive for coronavirus.

Health investigation teams began taking samples from all those who came into contact with the positive case as well as other random samples, he said.

Specialized agencies will work on disinfecting the houses of the patients and their neighbours.
