The Jordanian ministers have been instructed to adhere to health and safety measures in a circular sent out by the Prime Minister, Omar Al-Razzaz, on Thursday.
"We demand that citizens adhere to health instructions, it is our duty to start with ourselves and be the initiators of commitment, like all citizens," he said
Razzaz said the Kingdom is entering a critical stage and there is an opportunity to avoid further spread of COVID-19 across the country.
He requested that all ministers and directors of official departments conduct inspections to ensure that all public sector employees are abiding by official instructions including using Aman app and social distancing.
The Audit Bureau, internal control units, and mystery shoppers have also been instructed to conduct surprise visits and punish violators, he added.
