15 deaths, 963 new COVID-19 cases in Palestine

Palestine has recorded 963 new COVID-19 cases and 15 deaths over the past 24 hours, announced the Palestinian Health Minister, Mai al-Kaila, on Wednesday.

The deaths reported involved citizens in Jerusalem, Tulkarem, Hebron, Nablus, Tubas, Qalqilya, Al-Bireh and Gaza Strip , al-Kalia added.

The recovery rate stands at 69.8%, while the active cases rate is 29.5%, and the death rate is 0.7%.

The new coronavirus cases included: 130 in Hebron, 70 in Nablus, 74 in Bethlehem, 34 in Qalqilya, 98 in Ramallah and al-Bireh, 32 in Jenin, 35 in Jericho and al-Aghwar, nine in Tubas, 40 in Salfit, 43 in Tulkarm, 94 in Gaza Strip, 95 in the suburbs of Jerusalem and 207 in Jerusalem.

A total of 552 recovery cases were recorded in Palestine: 251 in Hebron, 25 in Tulkarm, 16 in Tubas, 28 in Qalqilya, 32 in Jenin, 147 in Jerusalem and 53 in Gaza Strip.

Currently, 30 cases are in the Intensive Care Unit and 11 are on ventilators.
