One new coronavirus case has been recorded in Ma'an, announced the Health Affairs Director, Amjad Abu Darwish, on Wednesday.

The case was found while conducting PCR tests in a company and was transferred to the isolation area in the Dead Sea.

A total of 16 samples have been taken from people who came into contact with him, the results for which are expected to come out on Wednesday.

The competent authorities have isolated the home of the patient to prevent the spread of the virus.
