Jordan will start utilising home quarantine for coronavirus patients if the number of people in institutional quarantine reaches 3,000, said the Health Minister, Saad Jaber, on Tuesday.

Jordan's government is doing all that it can to avoid imposing a total lockdown and limit the spread of COVID-19.

Jordan has reached the point where the coronavirus has spread across the whole country.

The Ministry of Health has increase its intensive care capacity, including respirators, up to 70%.

The number of positive coronavirus cases recorded up until Tuesday noon are within the same range as the previous days.
