A total of 15 buildings have been isolated in Amman due to positive coronavirus cases, said the acting governor of the capital, Ismail Al-Sarayrah, on Monday.
The buildings are located in the Dahiyet al-Haj Hassan, Qaryet Abu Sayyah, Dahiyet al-Ameer Hassan, Hashmi al-Shamali, the Dahiyet Al-Nakhil, Abu Nseir, Southern Marka, Al-Bayader, Khalda, Jabal Al-Nasr, Ashrafieh and Tabarbour.
The buildings have been disinfected to prevent the spread of COVID-19, in accordance with the approved health protocols.
Police officers have been positioned on the buildings’ entrances to ensure that no one enters or leaves.
Health investigation teams are currently taking samples from the residents of all buildings.
