Jordan has proven its ability to confront COVID-19, considering that the citizens have not made a mistake in committing themselves, despite that some parties are trying to hold them accountable for the spread of coronavirus and rise in cases, said the former head of the Doctors' Syndicate, Ahmad Al-Armouti.

There cannot be zero COVID-19 cases in Jordan, as it is in the middle of an endemic environment in the Middle East, added Al-Armouti.

The government's talk of recording zero cases during the last period generates a false impression and gives the citizen false reassurance, it is possible to talk about registering zero cases after the improvement of the epidemiological situation in the surrounding countries, said Al-Armouti.
