WHO: Next two months to be tougher with more COVID-19 deaths

The World Health Organization(WHO) expects a rise in the number of deaths from COVID-19 in Europe in the next two months, the WHO Europe director, Hans Kluge, said on Monday.

"It's going to get tougher. In October, November, we are going to see more mortality," WHO Europe director Hans Kluge said during an an interview with AFP.

"It's a moment where countries don't want to hear this bad news, and I understand," Kluge added.

Coronavirus deaths have reached 928,830 globally, including 212,659 deaths in Europe, according to Worldometers.
