Wunderman Amman, the Kingdom’s largest marketing and digital communications agency, is proud to announce its partnership with Microfund for Women (MFW), Jordan’s leading provider of financial and non-financial services for low-income entrepreneurs and small business owners. The agency—one of six integrated agencies under the umbrella of communications group MENACOM Jordan—initiated its work with the local non-profit after successfully demonstrating its technical and creative leadership during a competitive pitch process.

Working to enhance MFW’s online and offline presence, Wunderman Amman kicked off the partnership by helping the client implement a major campaign for its new portfolio of ‘responsive products’ which provide MFW beneficiaries with services designed to help them overcome economic hardships caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, such as the option to take out a second loan or refinance an existing loan. More recently, the agency unveiled a 360-degree communications campaign for Microfund for Women, underscoring the comprehensive scope of financial and non-financial services provided by the organization, as well as its incredible impact on the lives of individuals and families across the Kingdom. The new “more than a loan” campaign features diverse creative implementation across various online and offline channels, including a beautifully produced, emotionally resonant television commercial that was recently rolled out nationwide.

Commenting on the new partnership, Wunderman Amman’s Managing Director, Aleksandar Bradic, said, “Working alongside Microfund for Women is truly an honor. Beyond allowing us to further demonstrate our creative, strategic, and technological strengths, this partnership has given us the opportunity to provide added value to an organization that is making a real difference in the lives of individuals and families throughout the Kingdom. In particular, we at Wunderman are eager to leverage our industry-leading expertise in digital communications in order to help MFW spearhead its own digital revolution, which has never been more important than in these economically challenging, socially distanced times. Above all else, our goal is always to support our clients’ strategic organizational objectives, and we are uniquely delighted to see how we can continue to advance MFW’s noble mission.”

The Managing Director of Microfund for Women, Muna Sukhtian, also expressed her optimism toward this burgeoning partnership: “Wunderman Amman has demonstrated a number of critical strengths that give us confidence in our decision to partner with them, especially in the wake of COVID-19 and the resulting economic struggles. We aim to empower beneficiaries to break the cycle of poverty and live more inclusive lives, and by partnering with a leading agency like Wunderman, we hope to further expand our reach and impact throughout the Kingdom and strengthen our image as an organization that puts women first in all of its operations and activities, be they financial or nonfinancial.”

Established in 1996, Microfund for Women provides a variety of financial and non-financial services designed to help low-income individuals—especially women—empower themselves economically and socially. To date, MFW has served more than 140,000 beneficiaries, granting more than one million loans at a total value of over JOD500 million. In addition to its financial loans and services, MFW provides an expansive range of non-financial services, including everything from training opportunities, workshops, and marketing support to micro-insurance products.
