The Ministry of Education decided to switch seven public schools and four private schools to distant learning after shutting them down for 14 days due to COVID-19.

A total of 68 schools have been shut down after positive cases were recorded among students of staff members and 45 schools were shut down due to the isolation of the areas their located in, bringing the total to 113.

A total of  61 students, 43  teachers, five clients, and two employees have tested positive for coronavirus.

All confirmed cases have contracted the virus from infectred relatives.
