Two new COVID-19 cases were recorded in Southern Aghwar in Karak, the city's health director, Ayman al-Tarawneh, announced on Sunday.

The coronavirus cases in Karak now totals 98, al-Tarawneh added.

In addition, a total of 1,000 samples were taken from people who came into contact with the infected cases and the results are expected to come out on Sunday evening, al-Tarawneh told Roya.

However, COVID-19 investigation teams are continuing to conduct samples from everyone who came into contact with the infected.
