A total of 142 samples were taken from people who attended a funeral in Mafraq, after they came into contact with a person who tested positive for coronavirus, said the Mafraq Health Affairs Director, Hani Alaimat, on Saturday.

The Health Directorate is awaiting the results of the tests, Alaimat added.

COVID-19 investigation teams in the governorate continue to take samples from everyone who came into contact with the infected in the funeral.
