One new coronavirus case was recorded in Madaba, announced the city's governor, Ali Madi, on Saturday.

The case involves a 27-year-old woman who contracted the virus after she came into contact with a positive case at al-Bashir Hospital, Madi told Roya.

The infected was transferred to quarantine areas at the Dead Sea region and her house was isolated and disinfected.

In addition, seven COVID-19 tests were conducted on people who came into contact with the infected.
