A doctor who works at Prince Zaid bin Al-Hussein Military Hospital has tested positive for coronavirus, announced the  Governor of Tafilah, Khaled Al-Jabour, on Wednesday.

The doctor resides in Amman and works at the hospital in Tafilah once a week, he added.

The psychiatric clinic where works has been shut down and all hospital departments and facilities have been disinfected.

Health investigation teams are currently taking samples from all hospital staff members and people who came into contact with positive case.

The number of patients is limited and samples have already been taken from all of them.
