Eleven new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Karak, a medical source told Roya on Wednesday.

The source expects the number of positive cases to increase as the PCR test results come out, for those who came into contact with the 53-year-old woman who tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday.

The Karak Health Affairs Director, Ayman Al-Tarawneh, said nine new cases have been officially recorded, involving three in the Southern Mazar District and six in Al-Safi Valley.

COVID-19 investigation teams continue to collect samples from people who came into contact with positive cases.
