10 deaths, 717 new COVID-19 cases in Palestine

Palestine has recorded 717 new COVID-19 cases and 10 deaths over the past 24 hours, announced the Palestinian Health Minister, Mai al-Kaila, on Tuesday.

The deaths reported included; three in Jerusalem, one in the suburbs of Jerusalem involving a 37-year-old woman, one in Nablus involving a 39-year-old man, one in Ramallah and al-Bireh involving a 59-year-old man, one in Salfit involving a 79-year-old man, one in Hebron involving a 68-year-old man, one in Qalqilya involving a 60-year-old man and one in Gaza Strip involving a 56-year-old woman.

The new coronavirus cases included: 144 in Hebron, 75 in Nablus, 56 in Bethlehem, 25 in Qalqilya, 59 in Ramallah and al-Bireh, nine in Jenin, 22 in Jericho and al-Aghwar, 11 in Tubas, 20 in Tulkarm, 11 in Salfit, 118 in Gaza Strip, 34 in the suburbs of Jerusalem and 133 in Jerusalem.

A total of 718 recovery cases were recorded in Palestine, including: 372 in Hebron, seven in Jenin, two in Salfit, eight in Tulkarm, 22 in Nablus, 28 in Qalqilya, 70 in Jericho and al-Aghwar and 209 in Jerusalem.

The recovery rate stands at 68.2%, while the active cases rate is 31.2%, and the death rate is 0.6%.

Currently, 30 cases are in the Intensive Care Unit and three are on ventilators.
