A woman who tested positive for COVID-19 in Karak came into contact with 1,000 people, the Director of Karak Health Directorate, Ayman Al-Tarawneh, told Roya on Tuesday.

Seven houses have been isolated and the decision to isolate Karak from the rest of the Kingdom is up to the National Centre for Crisis Management.

Approximately 300 samples have been taken from people who came in contact with her, the results for which will come out on Tuesday.

Tarawneh expects an increase in the number of coronavirus cases due to the number of contacts.
