Jordanians expressed their shock and asked why the minister was not violating instructions issued by the National Centre for Crisis Management, which the Ministry of Health reiterates the need to abide by on a daily basis.

Failure to wear a facemask in Jordan is a violation punishable by law, according to Defense Order number 11, which was activated weeks ago to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
