Three deaths, 806 COVID-19 cases in Palestine

Palestine has recorded 806 new COVID-19 cases and three deaths over the past 24 hours, announced the Palestinian Health Minister, Mai al-Kaila, on Friday.

The deaths reported included a 75-year-old woman in Bethlehem, an 82-year-old woman in Hebron and 76-year-old man in Ramallah and al-Bireh, al-Kaila added.

The new coronavirus cases included: 220 in Hebron, 27 in Nablus, 48 in Bethlehem, 38 in Qalqilya, 92 in Ramallah and al-Bireh, four in Jenin, 21 in Jericho and al-Aghwar, 18 in Salfit, nine in Tubas, 16 in Tulkarem, 116 in Gaza Strip and 135 in Jerusalem, 62 of which in the suburbs.

A total of 692 recovery cases were recorded in Palestine, including: 105 in Hebron, 19 in Qalqilya, 148 in Ramallah and al-Bireh, 48 in Jericho and al-Aghwar, five in Tulkarem, four in Jenin, 13 in Gaza strip and 350 in Jerusalem.

The recovery rate stands at 68.1%, while the active cases rate is 31.3%, and the death rate is 0.6%.

Currently, 31 cases are in the Intensive Care Unit and five are on ventilators.
