Meteorological Department calls on drivers to reduce tire pressure

The Meteorological Department called on drivers in Jordan to reduce their vehicles' tire pressure due to the the current heatwave in the Kingdom.

Record high temperatures are expected to be recorded in different regions of the country.

Temperatures are higher than their average during this time of year by more than 10-12 degrees Celsius.

The weather continues to be hot and dry in most governorates, reaching 44 degrees Celsius in many villages and citiesm including Amman.

Temperatures will approach 50 degrees Celsius in some areas of the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
