An official document has been circulated on social media, on Wednesday, which included a list of countries allowed to travel to and from Jordan from August 30 to September 13.

However, the government is expected to update this list of countries sometime next week, a source told Roya.

The countries classified as ‘green countries’ include; Afghanistan, China, Djibouti, Egypt, Iceland, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Somalia, Taiwan, Thailand and Singapore.

The countries classified as ‘green countries’ with caution include; Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Canada, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Georgia, Germany, Haiti, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mauritania, Monaco, Poland, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovenia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Switzerland, UAE, UK, Uzbekistan and Yemen.

The countries classified as ‘yellow countries’ include; Algeria, Armenia, Bahrain, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Greece, India, Iran, Israel, Japan, Kuwait, Libya, Morocco, Netherlands, Palestine, Philippines, Portugal, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Syria, Tanzania, Tunisia, Ukraine, USA and Venezuela.

The countries classified as ‘red countries’ include; Albania, Argentina, Belgium, Bolivia, Bosnia, Brazil, France, Iraq, Lebanon, Moldova, Montenegro and Romania.

Jordan will resume regular commercial flights on September 8, the Minister of State for Media Affairs, Amjad Adaileh, announced during a press briefing, on Wednesday.
