A building in Jerash was isolated on Wednesday evening, after one of its residents tested positive for COVID-19, said the city's governor, Firas Abu Qaoud.

The COVID-19 investigative teams took samples from the residents of the building and everyone who came into contact with the infected, Abu Qaoud added.

The building and neighboring buildings in the area will be sterilized, he added.
