Three deaths, 719 new COVID-19 cases in Palestine

Palestine has recorded 719 new COVID-19 cases and three deaths over the past 24 hours, announced the Palestinian Health Minister, Mai al-Kaila, on Wednesday.

The deaths reported included an 80-year-old man in Hebron, 68-year-old woman in Nablus and 53-year-old man in Bethlehem, al-Kaila added.

The new coronavirus cases included: 233 in Hebron, 41 in Nablus, 50 in Bethlehem, 40 in Qalqilya, 50 Ramallah and al-Bireh, 18 in Jenin, 20 in Jericho and al-Aghwar, one in Salfit, 11 in Tulkarem, five in Tubas, 83 in Gaza Strip and 125 in Jerusalem, 42 of which in the suburbs.

The recovery cases recorded in Palestine included: 120 in Hebron, six in Tulkarem, 19 in Nablus, and 121 in Jerusalm.

The recovery rate stands at 67.2%, while the active cases rate is 32.2%, and the death rate is 0.6%.

Currently, 28 cases are in the Intensive Care Unit and five are on ventilators.
