Eight buildings have been isolated after positive coronavirus cases were recorded among residents, announced the governor of the capital, Saad Al-Shehab, on Tuesday.

The buildings are located in Khalda, Jabal Al-Nasr, Al-Moqableen, Tala' Al-Masdar, Shafa Badran, Al-Jubaiha, Southern Marka and Dahiyet Al-Rasheed, he said.

All buildings have been disinfected to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and COVID-19 investigation teams are  taking samples from all residents.

All the necessary precautionary measures were taken, including positioning policemen at the entrances to ensure no one enters or leaves the buildings.
