Seven deaths, 552 new COVID-19 cases in Palestine

Palestine has recorded 552 new COVID-19 cases and seven deaths over the past 24 hours, announced the Palestinian Health Minister, Mai al-Kaila, on Tuesday.

The deaths reported included two in Hebron, one in Gaza strip, three in Ramallah and al-Bireh and one in Qalqilya, al-Kaila added.

The new coronavirus cases included: 203 in Hebron, 64 in Nablus, 50 in Bethlehem, 56 in Qalqilya, 68 Ramallah and al-Bireh, 15 in Jenin, 10 in Jericho and al-Aghwar, two in Salfit, 12 in Tulkarm, two in Tubas, 44 in Gaza Strip and 26 in the suburbs of Jerusalem.

The recovery cases recorded in Palestine included: eight in Salfit, 151 in Hebron, two in Jenin, 11 in Tulkarem, 53 in Qalqilya, 53 in Bethlehem, and four in Gaza Strip.

The recovery rate stands at 68.2%, while the active cases rate is 31.2%, and the death rate is 0.6%.

Currently, 28 cases are in the Intensive Care Unit and six are on ventilators.
