The start of the academic year has been suspended in two UNRWA schools in Madaba Refugee Camp until next Sunday, said Madaba’s governor, Ali Madi, on Tuesday.

This came after a woman tested positive for coronavirus inside the camp on Monday. She was taken to quarantine areas in the Dead Sea region.

In addition, three houses were isolated in the camp and the COVID-19 investigation teams took samples from everyone who lives there.
