Ten buildings and one hotel have been isolated in Amman, said the governor of the capital, Saad Al-Shehab, on Monday.

The buildings are located in Hay Nazzal, Wadi Al-Seer, Jabal Al-Nazif, Southerm Marka, Dahiyet Al-Amir Hassan, Iskan Abu Nusseir, Al-Jubaiha, Umm Nuwara and Al-Bunayyat, he added.

The buildings have been disinfected and policemen have been positioned at the entrances to ensure that no one enters or leaves these buildings.

COVID-19 investigation teams are taking samples from the residents of all buildings.
