A total of 13 buildings have been isolated after residents tested positive for COVID-19, said the governor of Amman, Saad Al-Shehab, on Sunday.

The buildings are located in Al-Muqabaleen (2) and Al-Nuzha (2), Khraibet Al-Souq, Arjan, Northern Marka, Marj Al-Hamam, Jordan University Street, Jabal Al-Weibdeh, Salihiyyet Al-Abed, Al-Baniat and Al-Wehdat.

The buildings were isolated and disinfected to prevent the spread of coronavirus, said Shehab.

COVID-19 investigation teams will take samples from the residents of all 13 buildings.

Policemen have been positioned at the entrances to ensure that no person enters or leaves those buildings, he added.
