More than 1,200 people arrested for violating Friday’s lockdown

A total of 1,278 people who violated the lockdown across Amman and Zarqa have been arrested since 11pm on Friday.

Additionally, 350 vehicles were seized.

The Command and Control Centre received 28,532 calls to the emergency 911 number, of which 15,622 cases were dealt with.

Ambulances were deployed to 2,523 emergency calls and firefighters attended 35 call-outs in the past 24 hours.
