A six-year-old girl tested positive for coronavirus in Ain al-Basha in Balqaa governorate on Friday evening, announced the governor of Balqaa, Nayef Hidayat.

The girl came into contact with her grandmother who had tested positive for the virus, Hidayat told Roya.

The grandmother contracted the virus after coming into contact with other positive cases from the wedding party at Marka area in Amman, he added.

He added the girl’s health condition is stable and she was transferred to quarantine at Prince Hamza Hospital, adding that all of her 13 family members are being home-quarantined up until their COVID-19 test results come out.
