Reopening schools could spread coronavirus but if they remain closed the future of an entire generation of students and the livelihoods of 46,000 private school teachers are under threat, said Health Minister, Saad Jaber.

Schools will be reopened but strict health measures will be implemented, which include social distancing, reducing the number of students in classes and studying at home for three days a week, said Jaber.

He added that around 80 buildings have been isolated across the country.

The COVID-19 investigation teams were able to determine the infection source of al-Faisaly SC football players, Jaber added.
