Footballer Lucas Simon and two technical staff members tested positive for coronavirus, announced Al-Faisaly sports club on Friday.

The team’s masseur, Muhammad Asi, and supplies manager, Ibrahim Abu Khoussa, also tested positive for COVID-19, binging the total number of cases among Al Faisaly SC team and staff members to eight.

After the initial five cases were  announced on Thursday, samples were taken from the rest of the team and other staff members.

The results for all other samples came back negative.
