A total of 450 citizens in Ramtha tested negative for coronavirus, said Ramtha’s Health Director, Ikhlas Al-Saad, on Thursday. 

Results for the remaining 400 samples are due to come out in a few hours, she added.

Saad told Roya, investigation teams are currently obtaining more swabs from first-degree contacts for the second time, a week after the first sample was taken.

A third sample will be taken on the fourteenth day mark, as an additional precautionary step.

The current COVID-19 situation in Ramtha is good and under control, she said.
