No decision to close the al-Omari Border Crossing has been made, after 18 new COVID-19 cases were recorded among the border centre staff on Wednesday morning, said the governor of Zarqa, Hijazi Assaf.

Authorities have isolated the building where the infected people live and swabs were taken from those who had been in contact with them, Assaf told Roya.
