A number of students who passed their Tawjihi exams, alongside their families, held a protest on Wednesday morning, in front of the Department of Examinations and Tests building in Amman.
The students are unhappy that a computer has been used to check their answers on the exam papers. In previous years the verification process would be done by teachers. They are concerned their marks are not correct.
They also requested clarification of grade boundaries and a clear explanation on how the scanner verification process works in determining marks.
However, the Director of the Department of Examinations and Tests, Ali Hammad, said the answer sheets were scanned and verified 11 times.
