Palestine confirms 456 new COVID-19 cases

Palestine has recorded 456 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, the Palestinian Health Ministry announced.

The ministry reported 61.3% patients have recovered from the virus, while the active cases are 38.2%, and only 0.5% deaths.

In the last 24 hours, 124 new cases were recorded in Hebron, 83 in Nablus, 5 in Bethlehem, 3 in Qalqilya, 25 in Ramallah and al-Bireh, 39 in Jericho and a Aghwar, 9 in Salfit, 146 in Jerusalem and 22 in the suburbs of Jerusalem.

Palestine has also recorded 358 recovery cases; 57 in Hebron, seven in Tulkarm, three in Tubas, one in Jenin and 290 in Jerusalem.

Currently, 23 cases are in the Intensive Care Unit and five are on ventilators, the ministry added.
