Two deaths, 381 new COVID-19 cases in Palestine

A further 381 coronavirus cases and two deaths have been recorded over the past 24 hours in Palestine, announced the Palestinian Health Minister, Mai al-Kaila, on Sunday.

The deaths that were announced on Sunday involve a three-year-old child from Qalqilya and an 81-year-old man from Hebron.

A total of 450 patients have recovered including 261 in Hebron, 97 in Jericho and Al-Aghwar, 49 in Bethlehem, 29 in Nablus, six in Tulkarem, five in Qalqilya, two in Salfit and one in Jenin.

The new coronavirus cases were recorded across nine governorates: 188 in Hebron, 25 in Nablus, 28 in Tulkarem, 14 in Jericho and al-Aghwar, 23 in Bethlehem, 31 in Qalqilya, 49 in Ramallah and al-Bireh, two in Salfit and 21 in Jerusalem suburbs.

Currently, 26 cases are in the Intensive Care Unit and five are on ventilators.

The recovery rate stands at 60.9%, while the active cases rate is 38.5%, and the death rate is 0.6%, al-Kailah added.
