A total of 78 students in Jordan achieved 100 out of 100 in their Tawjihi exam results.

The overall pass rate in Tawjihi was 56.5%.

Minister of Education, Tayseer al-Nuaimi, held a press conference at 10am on Saturday, to talk about the pass rates and the highest Tawjihi marks in Jordan.

"We fulfilled our duty towards our country despite all circumstances," said al-Nuaimi, adding that success is to overcome all difficulties.

The results were supposed to be announced at 10am on Saturday morning, but the ministry announced them at 5am to help ease the overload on the internet, al-Nuaimi said.

The exam resit dates for high school students will be delayed due to the current health crisis. The dates will be announced later, he added.
